Job summary

Carvana is hiring an Entry-level Auto Body Repair Technician in the United States. The role focuses on prepping vehicles for paint, including sanding, masking, taping, bagging, tear down, and buffing to ensure top quality reconditioning in our high-tech centers.

Ideal candidates will have at least 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience, be able to lift up to 60 pounds, and work a schedule that may include mandatory overtime. We offer training programs to help you grow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment with exposure to weather.
• Use of safety gear such as face shield, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, etc.

Responsibilities

• Prep vehicles for paint: sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down and buffing.
• Operate state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech reconditioning center.
• Participate in overtime as required to meet delivery commitments.
