Art City Auto Body in Orem is seeking a dependable Paint Prepper to support the refinishing department. You will prep vehicle surfaces for paint by sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming, helping ensure high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, safe work habits, and the ability to work with a professional collision repair team. Previous experience is preferred but not required; driving license and a positive, team-oriented attitude are important.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive paint preparation experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of sanding, masking, and surface preparation techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces for paint application by sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming.
• Remove contaminants and ensure surfaces meet quality standards before painting.
• Assist painters with vehicle movement, material preparation, and shop organization.
• Perform final cleaning and inspection of vehicles prior to paint application.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
