LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions, LLC is seeking an Auto Body Mechanic in Missouri to repair and paint auto/truck bodies, assess damage, and perform both interior and exterior body work to restore vehicles. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of auto or diesel body experience.

Candidates must lift up to 50 pounds, have own tools and a valid driver's license, and pass pre-employment screening. First shift with competitive pay rates based on experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years auto or Diesel body experience in commercial or fleet maintenance.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds; bending, climbing, stooping.
• Must have own set of tools.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must have own steel toe boots.

Responsibilities

• Perform auto/truck body repair and painting.
• Assess vehicle body damage and repair/replace damaged items.
• Assess and repair vehicle body damage; repair auto/truck bodies.
• Interior body work: seats, upholstery, locks, airbags, floors, wiring, dashboard.
• Repair electrical/hydraulic systems, engines, steering and suspension.
• Exterior bodywork: sheet metal, frame, panels, windows, tires, bumpers; dent repair; surface prep.
• Prepare, prime and paint surfaces; weld and fabricate parts.
• Wash and finish vehicles; apply decals as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour, depending on experience

Shift: 1st

Body Repair Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform auto/truck body repair and painting.
• Assess vehicle body damage, loading vehicle onto auto body frame machine and performing exterior and interior body work including repair/replacement of damaged items.
• Assesses vehicle body damage; repairs auto/truck bodies.
• Performs interior body work on vehicles that includes repair or replace damaged seats, upholstery, locks, air bags, floors, wiring, dashboard;
• Performs extensive repairs on electrical/hydraulic systems, engines, steering and/or suspension components.
• Performs exterior bodywork on vehicles that includes repair or replace damaged sheet metal, frame, panel, windows, lights, tires, and/or bumpers. Fills dents/depressions; files, grinds and sands repaired surfaces.
• Prepares, primes and paints auto body surfaces. Welds and fabricates parts.
• Prepares stencils and silk screens; applies decals and hand lettered signs on vehicles. Washes and cleans cars after repairs are finished.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• The equivalent of High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ year's auto or Diesel body experience in commercial or fleet maintenance and repair shop.
