Job summary

Puget Collision in Marysville is seeking an Auto Body Collision Repair Technician to restore vehicles with light to heavy damage. You will assess exterior damage, follow manufacturer guidelines, and ensure parts and ADAS calibrations meet standards.

The role requires disassembly, refitting parts, and restoring to original specifications, while mentoring an apprentice and maintaining a safe, organized shop environment. Excellent attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• ICAR Gold Class and ASE certifications are a plus.
• Complete understanding of light to heavy collision repair.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines for repair work.
• Skilled welder able to remove/refit welded panels and bolt-on items.
• Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Ensure repairs follow OE standards, DRP parts, and ADAS calibrations and scanning for a quality, safe repair.
• Complete disassembly of vehicles.
• Refit parts such as bumpers, fenders, grills, moldings, and other bolt-on or welded items.
• Restore repairs to original manufacturer specifications including alignments and frame checks.
• Check all parts for accuracy before starting repair and report discrepancies.
• Work efficiently to meet the target delivery date for each RO.
• Assume responsibility for all parts assigned to your jobs.
• Protect interior and exterior non-repair areas from damage during repair.
• Read each RO line item and visually inspect vehicles to ensure all repairs are complete.
• Provide guidance, education, and assistance to assigned apprentices to foster growth.
