Job summary

Sebago Lake Collision, Powered by VIVE in Windham, ME is offering a full-time apprenticeship program in auto body repair. You will train hands-on in a top-rated facility, mentored by I-CAR certified technicians, learning disassembly to refinish with state-of-the-art equipment.

Starting pay is $18–$22 per hour, with a 12–16 month path to full-time employment and a starter tool kit worth $2,000 to use during the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Auto body repair experience is preferred.
• HS Diploma or GED; Auto Body Vo-Tech certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Multi-tasking; adapt easily to fast-paced environments.
• Ability to effectively communicate with others.

Responsibilities

• Learn every aspect of auto body repair from disassembly to refinish.
• Mentored by highly trained, I-CAR certified technicians.
• After a 12–16-month period, members will be evaluated and considered for full time employment.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Auto body repair: 1 year (Preferred)
• HS Diploma or GED, Auto Body Vo-Tech certification strongly preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Multi-tasking; adapt easily to fast-paced environments
• Ability to effectively communicate with others

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel and pull
• Extended periods of kneeling, bending, and squatting to complete or inspect repairs
• Carry and lift heavy objects (up to 80lbs)
• Manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination to operate equipment
• Performing repetitive motions
