Job summary

Sunnyside Chevrolet in Elyria, OH is seeking a qualified Auto Body Technician to join our team. We offer competitive pay with a sign-on bonus based on experience and a range from $50,000 to $100,000+ per year depending on expertise.

Responsibilities include analyzing repairs, inspecting and performing them to dealership standards, maintaining detailed paperwork, and upholding safety and quality. Tools provided? candidates must have their own tools and a valid license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• I-Car/ASE certification is a plus, but not required.
• 3–5 years auto body shop experience is a plus.
• Must have own tools.
• Positive attitude, strong communication, detail oriented, and good work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requested vehicle repairs for accuracy.
• Inspect and perform repairs according to dealership requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of auto body repair industry best practices.
• Conduct repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain detailed paperwork and record keeping of all claims.
• Keep a clean, safe work environment and adhere to safety standards.
• Stay up to date on required HAZCOM training certifications.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
