VIVE Collision of Bangor is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to perform replacement and repair of panels, follow OEM procedures, and deliver quality work in a fast-paced shop.

We offer pay ranges from $60,000 to $120,000 annually with up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus, plus paid I-CAR & OEM training, top equipment, and clear opportunities for career advancement within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of auto body collision repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED; Auto Body Vo-Tech certification preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Must supply own tools in good working condition.
• Knowledge of manufacturer and dealership safety guidelines and standards.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret repair instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsabilités

• Perform replacement and repair of bolt-on and weld-on panels in accordance with manufacturer and company standards.
• Execute structural and non-structural repairs, including airbag replacement and minor mechanical work as needed.
• Meet or exceed company performance standards for technician efficiency, cycle time, and quality to ensure on-time vehicle delivery and low return rates.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with Production Managers and Estimators regarding repair progress, vehicle status, and supplemental needs.
• Follow all safety protocols, utilize required PPE, and adhere to proper repair procedures and hazardous waste disposal guidelines.
• Test drive vehicles after repairs to verify safe operation, compliance with repair standards, and the quality and effectiveness of completed work.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper tool return and management of parts and materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform replacement and repair of bolt-on and weld-on panels in accordance with manufacturer and company standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Auto Body Vo-Tech certification strongly preferred
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
• Must supply own tools in good working condition
• Knowledge of and adherence to manufacturer and dealership safety guidelines and standards
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret repair instructions, written estimates, and work orders
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced work environment
