Job summary

Carolinas Collision Centers in Goldsboro, NC is seeking EXPERIENCED Automotive Body Repair Techs to repair and restore collision damage to pre-loss condition at our high-volume shop.

As part of a family-owned team, you will inspect vehicles, repair and replace damaged panels, fenders and frames using frame machines and welding tools, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive body repair using collision repair techniques.
• Solid knowledge of welding and metalworking techniques.
• Ability to assess damage and plan effective repairs.
• Excellent problem-solving and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Repair and restore auto body collision damage to pre-loss condition.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle bodies to assess damage and provide repair estimates.
• Utilize knowledge to repair and replace damaged body parts such as panels, fenders, doors, bumpers and frames using hand and power tools, welding and metalworking tasks.
• Perform structural repairs and frame straightening using frame machines and measuring systems.
• Ensure repairs meet industry safety and quality standards by following procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols.
• Stay up to date with industry advancements and techniques through ongoing learning.

Our high-volume I-Car Gold class certified collision repair center at Deacon Jones Ford in Goldsboro, NC is seeking EXPERIENCED Automotive Body Repair Techs to repair and restore collision related auto body damage to pre-loss condition.

Auto Body Collision Repair Tech experience is required.

Requirements - Experienced Auto Body Collision Repair Tech:

• Solid knowledge of automotive repair techniques and tools, including expertise in using body shop equipment such as welders and frame straightening tools.
• Experience using various hand and power tools to remove, reshape, and install auto body parts, as well as performing welding and metalworking tasks.
• Ability to accurately assess vehicle body damage and develop effective repair plans to achieve optimal results.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
• Excellent problem-solving skills and able to work independently, demonstrating resourcefulness and adaptability in overcoming challenges.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities, fostering positive working relationships and collaboration within the team
