The role involves light disassembly, minor wreck repairs, and detailed body work on customer equipment. Responsibilities include assisting the Body Shop Manager, maintaining safety standards, and communicating recommendations to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Prefer applicant out of collision training program or some experience in body shop.
• Working knowledge of body repair methods.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to interpret vendor catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Assists Body Shop Manager with care, storage and usage of materials.
• Follows all safety standards set by governmental guidelines, including OSHA/epa guidelines.
• Performs work directed by Body Shop Manager in a timely and thorough manner.
• Advises Body Shop Manager of changes in services ordered by customer.
• Determines if further servicing should be recommended and communicates it.
• Attends training sessions as required by Body Shop Manager.
• Preforms light detailing such as buffing, polishing and decal removal.
• Performs additional services if customer returns due to faulty workmanship.
