Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster to join our remote claims team. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving complex bodily injury claims in a timely and equitable manner.

Key Responsibilities

1. Review and analyze auto liability claims involving bodily injury.
2. Determine coverage, liability, and damages through investigation and documentation.
3. Interview claimants, witnesses, and medical professionals to gather information.
4. Evaluate medical records, bills, and reports to determine injury severity and impact.
5. Negotiate settlements directly with claimants, attorneys, or their representatives.
6. Maintain accurate and detailed claim files in compliance with state regulations and internal procedures.
7. Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients, claimants, and internal departments.
8. Stay up to date on jurisdictional regulations, trends, and best practices.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 3+ years of experience handling bodily injury auto claims.
2. Strong knowledge of insurance principles, claims regulations, and legal liability.
3. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
4. Proficiency in claims management systems (e.g., Guidewire, ClaimCenter) is preferred.
5. Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
6. Must have appropriate state adjusting licenses or be able to obtain them.
7. High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
