Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking a Check-In Clerk to support the auto auction floor. You will manage vehicle check-ins, verify VINs, mileage, and condition reports, and resolve discrepancies with drivers, sellers, and staff. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and 1+ year in vehicle check-in or related fields. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with auction systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years' experience in vehicle check-in, auction operations, or similar role within automotive industry.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with auction management systems and databases helpful.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and manage check-in for arriving vehicles to ensure efficient processing.
• Verify vehicle information (VIN, mileage, condition reports, titles) and record accurately.
• Inspect arrivals for damage or discrepancies and resolve with relevant teams.
• Collaborate with drivers, sellers, and staff to resolve issues and maintain smooth workflow.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements during check-in.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and communicate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service.
