Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking an Auto Auction Block Clerk to support fast-paced auction operations. You will record bids, track sales, and ensure accurate buyer data in real time alongside auctioneers.

The role emphasizes data entry accuracy, communication with ringmen and buyers, and collaboration with title and accounting teams. Prior auction or automotive experience is a plus, with a friendly, professional demeanor required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry.
• Experience in an auction, automotive, or clerical role is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Record bids and track vehicle sales in real time with the auctioneer.
• Enter sale prices and buyer details into auction software during live auctions.
• Relay important vehicle details and seller announcements to bidders when needed.
• Verify bidder credentials and confirm transactions before finalizing vehicle sales.
• Assist title clerks and accounting teams with documentation and payment processing.
• Perform post-auction paperwork and data entry; support setup and reconciliation.
