Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is hiring an Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis in the Humble, TX area. You will use up-to-date equipment to align tires and wheels, measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true.

The role includes performing state-mandated inspections, oil/filter changes, flat repairs, and other required automotive services.

Qualifications

• be at least 18 years of age.
• be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Responsibilities

• Automotive Alignment Technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles, measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure the vehicle travels straight and true.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.
• As an active position, Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair; regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
