Responsibilities
- Perform all work safely; communicate any safety or quality concerns.
- Operate manual and standard‑transmission motor vehicles in accordance with company and customer instructions/procedures.
- Inspect all customer vehicles for damage before beginning work.
- Confirm all parts, accessory codes and numbers before beginning work.
- Inspect parts before installing.
- Follow all written work processes.
- Post‑installation inspection and sign off on quality accountability documentation for each install.
- Maintain accountability for hand tools, torque wrenches and light power tools.
- Keep work areas clear of waste and debris.
Experience Requirements
- Mechanically inclined.
- Automotive lift experience preferred but not required.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
Skills, Licenses, Certifications, and/or Special Training
- Valid state driver’s license if required to operate company equipment.
- Meet and maintain all conditions of employment policy requirements.
Physical, Mental & Sensory Requirements
- Ability to work in indoor/outdoor environments exposed to extreme heat and cold, dust, and noisy conditions.
- Constantly use bending, kneeling, twisting, and walking motions on uneven surfaces throughout the shift.
- Perform prolonged standing, walking at a rapid pace up to 5 miles in an 8‑hour shift.
- Physical strength and agility to open and close automobile doors throughout the shift.
- Lift and carry: up to 75 lb rarely; up to 50 lb occasionally; up to 25 lb frequently.
- Push and pull up to 100 lb.
- Hear and communicate; work or safety instructions spoken in normal voice.
- Read VINs and shipping documents.
- Visual acuity, normal depth perception to inspect and drive in limited lighting including night/dusk and inside operations.
- Properly wear all required PPE.
- Walk on a moving assembly line belt.
