Job summary

Southeast Delco School District is seeking a Special Education Autistic Support Teacher for grades 3-4 at Delcroft School in Folcroft, PA. The teacher will provide specialized instruction, develop IEPs, and collaborate with families and professionals to support students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development.

Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, coordinating services, monitoring progress, and participating in IEP meetings and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university required.
• Valid Pennsylvania Certification: Special Education K-8, Special Education K-12, or a confirmed pathway to certification.
• 2+ years teaching desired.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruction and support to special education students in accordance with their IEP.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials to address students’ individual needs.
• Coordinates services and prepares essential documents (IEP, NOREP, evaluations) and other required paperwork.
• Collaborates with district staff and outside agencies to coordinate student programs and support.
• Participates in Multidisciplinary team and facilitates IEP meetings.
