Job summary

Sharon Hill School within Southeast Delco School District is seeking a Special Education Autistic Support Teacher for grades 3-5. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
PA Special Education certification (K-8 or K-12) or eligible pathway.
2+ years of teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEPs for students with autism.
Develop lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to individual needs.
Coordinate with regular education staff, pupil services, and outside agencies.
Prepare essential documents (IEP, NOREP, evaluations) and manage caseload data.
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team activities.
Deliver staff development on interventions and behavior support as needed.
