Job summary

SELLERSVILLE Elementary is seeking a Teaching Assistant Autistic Support 3 to support classroom instruction under a special education framework. Immediate start with a 10-month work year and PESPA-based compensation. The role emphasizes data collection, adapting materials, and assisting staff in implementing behavior supports.

The applicant will work closely with teachers and the supervisor to ensure confidentiality, learner progress, and safe student handling per the IEP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual and small group instructional assistance as directed by the teacher or supervisor.
• Collaborates with classroom teacher to adapt materials to support the program.
• Observes and records student data per IEP and shares with staff.
• Assists in implementing positive behavior supports and CPI strategies.
• Assists with technology applications and student self-care needs.
• May accompany and escort students as needed.
