Lebanon School District is seeking a paraprofessional to encourage young learners, support teachers, and help students feel seen and capable in the classroom. The role emphasizes patience, kindness, and a steady presence throughout the school day.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate degree or 48 college credits preferred, plus Act 151/34/24 and FBI clearances. English fluency is required; experience with children is preferred but not mandatory.
As a paraprofessional, you’ll encourage young learners, support teachers, and help students feel seen and capable—whether you’re guiding them through a lesson or just offering a smile when they need it. You’ll bring patience, kindness, and a steady presence to every day.
The work environment is lively and hands-on. You’ll spend your day in classrooms and hallways always moving and interacting with students and staff. Flexibility is important - no two days are exactly the same. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values collaboration, kindness, and making school a welcoming place for every child.
