Job summary

Newtown Middle School is seeking a Personal Care Assistant for Autistic Support in a middle school setting. This temporary/anticipated position is located at Newtown Middle School in Newtown, PA, with a start date to be determined.

Responsibilities include assisting with health, safety, behavior, and crisis plans under certified staff supervision. A high school diploma or GED is required, and comprehensive PA clearances are necessary to begin employment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Ability to implement student-specific health, safety, behavior, and crisis intervention plans under the direction of certified staff.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with health, safety, behavior, and crisis intervention plans under supervision.
• Support autistic students in a middle school setting.
• Provide general personal care assistance as directed.
