Job summary

Action Behavior Centers is hiring a Behavior Technician to help children with autism build communication, social, and independent skills. Work Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with optional Saturdays based on patient needs, in Charlotte, NC.

Paid training and full coverage of RBT certification are provided, with growth opportunities within a supportive team. The role involves following treatment plans, engaging children through play and activities, and maintaining a safe therapy space.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; provide proof of degree (diploma or transcript).
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire.
• At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Follow personalized treatment plans and collect simple session data.
• Help children learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands-on activities.
• Stay active and engaged throughout therapy sessions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.
• Collaborate with a supportive team focused on helping kids grow and succeed.
