Job summary

ABA Centers of Washington is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians to deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, and clinics under BCBA supervision. You will assist with communication, social and daily living skills and track progress to ensure high-quality care.

Compensation

Final compensation determined by experience, training, and education.

CBT: Starting rate $32.00 per hour. RBT: $30.00 per hour. BT: $28.00 per hour.

What You’ll Do

Direct Client Support

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics or other venues as client needs dictate.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track progress and maintain quality.
• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately.
• Work closely with BCBAs, team members and families.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.

Collaborate & Communicate

Support Operations

• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles).
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.

Preferred

• Experience in childcare, education or related fields.
• Experience working with children or adolescents.
• Prior exposure to ABA services.

Position-Specific Items

• Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40-hour paid training programme over 2 consecutive weeks, followed by precepting (hands‑on supervision) and pass the RBT exam within 45 days.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; one week of paid training followed by precepting (hands‑on supervision).
• Training availability (BT / RBT): Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
