Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with Autism in a NY school setting. This full-time contract (35 hours/week) offers benefits and a path to flexible scheduling by age group. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to advance communication and IEP goals.

Required are an active NY SLP license, NY Teaching Certificate (TSSH/TSSLD), Medicaid/OPRA, and an NPI. Prior school-based experience (SLP-CCC/CFY) is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Active NY SLP license and NY Teaching Certificate (TSSH or TSSLD) required.
• Medicaid/OPRA number and an NPI number required.
• Experience in school settings and SLP-CCC/CFY or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy for students with Autism.
• Assess, develop, and implement IEP-driven therapy plans.
• Document sessions thoroughly in compliance with Medicaid rules.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to maximize progress.
• Participate in school-wide initiatives to support inclusive learning.
• Contribute expertise to multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP workups.
