Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Intervention Specialist preferred but any certification considered including K-3, 4-9, 7-12 in any area considered.
Valid teaching certificate/license, valid teacher substitute license, or willingness to obtain substitute license.
Previous experience in working with students diagnosed with Autism preferred but not required.
Work effectively with children diagnosed with special needs and behavior challenges in an alternative educational program.
Work effectively with a variety of related service personnel in providing educational programming to students diagnosed with ASD.
Provides for individual differences through an individualized educational program that is evidenced in daily planning, class activities, and assessment goals.
Provide appropriate educational activities and opportunities for children with a goal of enhancing their educational, social, and emotional growth.
Maintains effective communication and collaboration with administration, district of residence, and families concerning matters related to students in the program.
