Job summary

Staff Today Inc. is seeking a Special Education Teacher in Colorado Springs to develop and implement IEPs for students in grades 3-5, including autistic support.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be eligible for a Special Education license in CO.
• CO Special Education credential for Mild/Moderate or Extensive Support Needs.
• Experience supporting students with autism or extensive needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement IEPs for each student.
• Provide specialized instruction and adapt lessons for students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff.
• Assess progress and provide accommodations and modifications.
• Ensure FAPE in LRE following procedures.
