Job summary

Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 is hiring a Full-time Registered Behavior Technician paraeducator for center-based Autistic Support classes. You will support the classroom teacher and students under the supervision of the program supervisor of special education.

Requirements include RBT certification or completion by the end of the first semester, monthly requirements, and safety trainings (CPI/SCM). Physical duties include lifting and assisting students as needed.

Qualifications

• RBT Paraeducator must maintain monthly requirements and certification.
• Certification by end of first full semester is required.
• CPI/SCM Safety-Care training may be required as per program needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to the teacher and students under supervision.
• Receive ongoing support and training from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
• Maintain required certifications and professional development hours.
• If not meeting requirements, may transfer to a different paraeducator position at reduced pay.
• Provide evidence of 20 hours of staff development annually.
• Assist with student mobility and safety as needed.
