Job summary

Faribault School District in Faribault, MN is seeking a Long Term Substitute Special Education Paraprofessional to support and supervise students with Autism Spectrum Disorder at Faribault High School. Assignment runs from roughly 1/15/27 to 4/8/27. The role requires a High School Diploma, experience with special needs students, and the ability to follow the case manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience working with students with special needs.
• Ability to take direction from the case manager.
• Willingness to be trained in PECS, visual schedules, social stories, and behavior supports.
• Ability to collect and report data as directed by the case manager.
• Willingness to be trained in certain medical procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with personal care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and supervision of special needs students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Substitute in health office when needed under supervision of the licensed nurse.
• Perform paraprofessional activities within health office services and district policies.
