Job summary

Heartland-Aba-1 is seeking part-time ABA paraprofessionals to provide one-on-one services in clients' homes or community locations. You will implement skill-building plans, collect data, and work with a clinical team to support children with Autism.

No ABA experience is required as paid training is provided; candidates should be compassionate, patient, and eager to learn, with a commitment to 6 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and passionate about helping children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion, and calm demeanor in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients in home or community settings.
• Assist with implementing skill-building and care plans under BCBA supervision.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment and connect with families.
• Collaborate with families and supervisors to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, using evidence-based interventions supporting independence and positive behavior.
• Serve as an integral member of our clinical team, responsible for the direct implementation of skill-building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.
• Collaborate with families and BCBA Supervisor(s) to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Need to Know:

• Services will be provided in clients' homes or in community-based locations.
• All positions start off part-time.
• Required to take the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician course.
• Looking to hire candidates who are willing to make a 6-month commitment to change our clients lives.
