Job summary

Heartland ABA seeks caring individuals to provide one-on-one ABA services in clients' homes or community settings. The role supports independence and learning through evidence-based interventions and close team collaboration.

No ABA experience is required; training is provided and part-time hours are common, with strong emphasis on compassionate care for children with Autism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to learn and make a difference for children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion and ability to stay calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients using evidence-based interventions.
• Contribute to skill-building and care plans as part of the clinical team.
• Accurately record session data using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment and connect with families.
• Collaborate with families and BCBA Supervisors to improve treatment effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, using evidence-based interventions supporting independence and positive behavior.
• Serve as an integral member of our clinical team, responsible for the direct implementation of skill-building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.
• Collaborate with families and BCBA Supervisor(s) to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Need to Know:

• Services will be provided in clients' homes or in community-based locations.
• All positions start off part-time.
• Required to take the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician course.
• Looking to hire candidates who are willing to make a 6-month commitment to change our clients lives.
