Job summary

Heartland ABA is seeking an entry-level Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with Autism in Muscatine, IA. Roles are primarily part-time and conducted in clients’ homes or community locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• RBT certification is required before working.
• Willingness to learn and make a difference in the lives of children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, using evidence-based interventions to support independence and positive behavior.
• Serve as a core member of the clinical team, implementing skill-building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment and engage with families.
• Services occur in clients' homes or community-based locations.
• All positions start off part-time.
• Commit to a 6-month engagement to help change lives.
