Job summary

Wildfire Elementary School in Paradise Valley USD 69 seeks a SPED Autism teacher for grades 4-6. The 1.0 FTE position is for the 2026-27 school year at Wildfire ES in Phoenix, AZ.

The teacher will develop individualized lessons, deliver instruction per district curriculum, collaborate with staff and families, manage behavior, and participate in IEPs and PLCs to support student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Arizona Teaching Certificate required.
• Appropriately Certified in Core Content Area.
• SEI Endorsement Required.
• CPR and First Aid certificates and clearances are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers developmental testing programs and subject-specific assessments to determine student needs.
• Delivers instruction and develops lesson plans within established curriculum guidelines.
• Collaborates with teachers, staff and administrators to address instructional issues and student progress.
• Manages classroom behavior to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Maintains appropriate records including progress, attendance and IEP documentation.
