Paradise Valley Unified School District is seeking a SPED Autism Teacher for Quail Run Elementary School in Phoenix. This 1.0 FTE, non-interim position runs from 07/27/2026 to 05/27/2027, with teaching responsibilities focused on students with special needs in academics, daily living skills, and interpersonal development.

The role reports to the Site Administrator and requires Arizona Teaching Certification, SEI endorsement, and certification in core content areas.

Qualificações

• Arizona Teaching Certificate required.
• Core Content Area Certification required or appropriate.
• SEI Endorsement required.
• CPR and First Aid certificates; background clearance.
• FLSA Exempt status; district compliance.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in a job-related area.

Responsabilidades

• Administer assessments to determine student competency and/or develop learning plans.
• Provide first aid and assistance to medically fragile students as needed.
• Communicate progress and expectations with parents/guardians.
• Monitor and support student progress toward objectives and goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and administrators.
• Participate in IEP meetings and PLC teams.
• Prepare and maintain records and documentation.
