Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking an Autism Specialist Professional / Behavior Therapist to join our New Hampshire team. The part-time role offers flexible scheduling and may involve in-person or telehealth support to implement behavior plans and teach ABA-based skills.

The Autism Specialist Professional will monitor client progress, collect data, and report to the supervising BCBA, working closely with families to drive meaningful improvements in behavior.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum two years' experience with developmental disabilities.
  • Must be 18+ and able to pass a background check.
  • Reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license.
  • Availability after school and evenings.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Experience with behavioral interventions preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Compassionate approach to care.

Responsibilities

  • Implement clients’ behavior support plans to reduce problematic behaviors.
  • Provide ABA-based instruction to promote skill development.
  • Monitor client behavior and collect data; report to supervising BCBA.

Northeast Family Services is seeking a Autism Specialist Professional / Behavior Therapist to join our growing New Hampshire team!

TheAutism Specialist Professionalwill be responsible for the implementation of clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior, and the provision of ABA-based instruction to promote development of new skills, at the direction of their supervising BCBA. The Autism Specialist Professionalwill monitor client behavior, collect data on client behavior and skill acquisition, and report the data back to supervising BCBA. The Autism Specialist Professionalwill work collaboratively with the supervising BCBA, either in-person or via a telehealth modality, and the client’s family, to support meaningful changes in client behavior.

Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or a GED
  • At least two years of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
  • Availability to work after school and evening hours
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Experience in applied settings implementing behavioral interventions preferred
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • A compassionate approach to care

  • Northeast Family Services offers high-quality supervision of fieldwork experience for candidates seeking the BCBA or BCaBA credentials. A two-year contract is offered following successful completion of fieldwork experience.
  • Northeast Family Services supports uncertified in obtaining the Registered Behavior Technician credential by offering RBT 40 hour training, initial competency assessment, ongoing skills-based supervision, and a $100 bonus upon obtaining RBT credential.

Compensation:
