Sanilac County Community Mental Health Authority seeks a Technician to support Autism Services, assisting individuals in developing functional skills through training within classroom, workroom, or community settings.

Under supervision, the technician will help promote independence, coordinate transportation, administer medications when needed, and participate in cross-department activities to strengthen program outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
• Must obtain DCH Certification within three months of hire.
• One year working with individuals with ASD preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide adequate supervision of program participants to ensure health and safety during activities, including transportation.
• Prepare training environments and schedules of presentations and activities.
• Assist in training and supporting staff and substitute staff in required duties.
• Complete data collection, monitoring reports and assessments per agency policies.

DCH Certification within 3 months
