Job summary

EDU-AIDs in Bethany, CT is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support PreK-2 autism students. This full-time contract role starts ASAP and runs through the end of the school year. The position requires CT certification and a bachelor's in Education; a master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Connecticut Special Education Teacher Certification (required)

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction and support for students with autism in PreK-2 classrooms
• Develop and implement IEPs aligned with student needs and district standards
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with Connecticut regulations
