Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of autism spectrum disorders and evidence-based practices.
• Experience with individuals with ASD preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to be patient, flexible, versatile and cope with stress.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work with frequent interruptions and changes.

Responsibilities

• Directly implement skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction plans developed by BCBA.
• Assist in preparation of client materials.
• Accurately collect, record, and analyze data and report progress.
• Apply evidence-based, behavior-analytic techniques.
• Maintain awareness of trends and best practices in autism intervention.
• Follow UNT and departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist clients with physical needs and personal care as required.
• Attend staff meetings, training, and events.
