Job summary

The University of North Texas System's Kristin Farmer Autism Center in Denton seeks an Autism Intervention Assistant (part-time) to support clinical programming under a BCBA supervisor. You will help implement skill-building and behavior-support plans, prepare learning materials, and collect data.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma; experience with children or ASD is preferred. The schedule is varied, Monday–Friday 8:00am–6:00pm, 0.48 FTE, hourly pay of $9.50.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children or ASD is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to be patient, flexible, and cope with stressful situations.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Directly implement skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction plans developed by a BCBA.
• Assist supervisors in preparing client materials and data collection.
• Accurately collects, records, and analyzes data and reports progress.
• Implements evidence-based practices including behavior-analytic techniques.
• Attend staff meetings and support learning activities as required.
