Job summary

QSAC is a New York City and Long Island based nonprofit dedicated to supporting children and adults with autism and their families. The organization seeks a Group Leader/Shift Leader DSP to supervise staff, oversee activity classrooms, and ensure accurate execution of treatment plans.

Responsibilities include training staff, maintaining certifications, handling client records, and coordinating transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience with Developmental Disability/Autism populations preferred.
• Ability to supervise, train and support DSP staff effectively.
• Maintain client confidentiality and safety of individuals in care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise habilitation specialists/DSPs and ensure adherence to treatment plans.
• Maintain required certifications (SCIP-R, AMAP, CPR, First Aid).
• Handle client information, attendance sheets and progress notes.
• Coordinate transportation and communicate with evaluators and family members.
• Perform duties as assigned by supervisors and senior management.
