Job summary

Sankofa Behavioral Health is seeking part-time ABA therapists to deliver direct behavioral therapy in Baltimore communities, with evening shifts (3:30-6:30 PM or 5-7:30 PM). The role requires, at minimum, a high school diploma and reliable transportation to client homes and our center in Baltimore County.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans with BCBA/BCaBA collaboration, data collection, daily notes, and family coaching.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work after 5 pm on weekdays (3:30-6:30 pm or 5-7:30 pm preferred).
  • Reliable commute to clients' homes and the center in Baltimore County (occasionally).
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs and be able to run, jump, sit, stand with/without accommodation.
  • Successful completion of fingerprinting and criminal history background check.
  • Satisfactory reference checks and TB test.
  • Reliable transportation to job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct behavioral therapy services to clients in individual sessions.
  • Adhere to and support company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with BCBA/BCaBA to implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collect and graph data as instructed.
  • Complete daily notes documenting treatment plan implementation.
  • Support families in implementing behavioral strategies and data collection.
  • Ensure client well-being during sessions and in crisis situations.

Job description

We currently service Baltimore County, Baltimore City, and Howard County. We are looking to bring on talented and passionate team members to work in theBaltimore County, Baltimore City, PG County, Montgomery County, and Howard County areas. Team members will occasionally be expected to provide services in our center located in Windsor Mill as well.

EVENING AVAILABILITY CURRENTLY AVAILABLE:

3:30-6:30 PM

4:30-7:00 PM

Job Duties:
  • Provide direct behavioral therapy services to clients in individual sessions.
  • Adhere to and support the company's policies and procedures.
  • Work with Board Certified Behavior Analysts and/or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts to implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collect and graph data as instructed.
  • Complete daily notes (related to implementation of the treatment plan) as instructed.
  • Support the family and other caregivers in implementing the behavioral support strategies in the plan and collecting data.
  • Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients during treatment sessions and when emergency crisis situations arise.
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to work after 5 pm on weekdays (ideally 3:30-6:30 p.m. or 5- 7:30 p.m.)
  • Will require the ability to reliably commute to clients' homes and our center in Baltimore County (occasionally)
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs

  • Satisfactory reference checks
  • Must pass tuberculosis test
  • Reliable mode of transportation
