Keystone Human Services in Carlisle, PA, seeks a Casual/Per Diem Community/Direct Support Professional Float to provide individualized, person-directed support in Autism, focusing on inclusion and community participation. The role offers flexible per diem scheduling and emphasizes helping individuals achieve meaningful participation in daily life.

You will help with daily living activities, transport participants, and collaborate with families and healthcare providers to coordinate plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective communication and proficient computer skills.
• Valid driver's license with daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle.
• Use of personal vehicle to transport individuals within the community.
• Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including clearances and verifications.

Responsibilities

• Encourage independence, decision-making, and community participation to promote valued social roles.
• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, meal planning/preparation, and promote overall health and wellness.
• Provide transportation and support for community activities, employment, and social engagement as needed.
• Maintain positive, professional interactions with individuals supported, their families, and all stakeholders; coordinate services as needed.
• Administer medications per policy, schedule and attend medical appointments, and implement physician orders as directed.
• Actively participate in designing, coordinating, and implementing ISPs and attend plan meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
