Qualifications

• Must hold Paraprofessional Certificate by one of the approved paths.
• Willingness to undergo Mindset Safety Management – Deescalation training or to receive training.
• Ability to organize, direct, and manage groups of children in various activities and settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Adapted Curriculum Autism classroom teachers.
• Instruct and assist students individually and in groups as directed by the teacher.
• Maintain accurate records and protect student confidentiality; participate in staff trainings and committees.
