Arizona Autism Charter Schools in Phoenix seeks a School Psychologist to implement and oversee a comprehensive special education evaluation process aligned with IDEA and state guidelines. You will ensure compliance, program development, intervention planning, and active parent involvement.

The role includes administering a range of assessments, interpreting findings, and supporting IEP meetings as needed, with a focus on student outcomes across regular and special education services.

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.
• Experience as a teacher or school counselor is preferred, or any equivalent combination of experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Administer cognitive, achievement, social/emotional, adaptive, autism spectrum, and other assessments.
• Evaluate data to recommend services within regular and special education.
• Interpret test findings to parents for placement decisions in special education.
• Consult with teachers and staff on diagnostic findings to support educational development.
• Develop a school mentor program for social-emotional development.
