Job summary

The University of Washington Autism Center in Seattle is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow for a full-time, temporary role. Under supervision, you will perform evaluations, develop plans, and provide individualized intervention to children and individuals with autism, contributing to evidence-based care and fellowship requirements.

Travel to Tacoma is required, with primary work in Seattle.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• One year of relevant experience required.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Washington (or relevant) is preferred.
• Praxis Examination completion preferred.
• Experience with autism spectrum disorders and families encouraged.
• Experience with AAC and social skills groups a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations using standardized tools.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing intervention.
• Deliver services in individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for assessment, planning, and service delivery.
• Provide family education, support to educators, and community partners.
• Prepare evaluation reports, treatment plans, progress notes, and other documentation.
