Job summary

Centriaautism in Lansing, Michigan is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. In this role, you will work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. This position requires compassion, patience, and a physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication and social skills.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and lifting children or objects up to 50 pounds.
