Job summary

Delta-T Group North Jersey, Inc. is seeking an experienced Behavioral Specialist to work with individuals with special needs. The role includes observing participants in various settings, developing behavior support plans, and conducting training for staff and families.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience working with individuals with Autism and a relevant Master's Degree. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are also required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience working with individuals with Autism and/or other intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Minimum of a Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Complete state training conducting and using a Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Observe participants and revise behavior support plans as needed.
• Conduct functional assessments of participants' presenting issues.
• Train staff and families on behavior support plan implementation.
• Complete paperwork related to data collection and reporting.
