Job summary
A leading autism service provider in Michigan is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. The role involves working one-on-one with children, using evidence-based techniques to implement behavior intervention plans. Candidates must be compassionate, patient, and able to lift and carry children weighing up to 50 pounds. Training will be provided to equip staff. Pay range is $16-$18 per hour, and candidates must complete a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.
Qualifications
Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Candidates must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.
Responsibilities
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
Reduce interfering behaviors.
