Job summary

Child Builders ABA in Woonsocket, RI is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team delivering home-based ABA services. The role focuses on implementing behavior plans and supporting individuals with autism, applying data-driven strategies in coordination with a supervising BCBA.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in special education or behavioral health is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical documentation and medical records - Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques
• Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder
• Ability to follow care plans and behavioral intervention strategies
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervisor
• Collect data on individual behaviors during sessions
• Assist in the development of care plans and goals
• Provide behavioral therapy to individuals with autism
• Help individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and records
• Utilize behavior management techniques effectively
