Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking motivated Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, following individualized intervention plans under a BCBA. You will employ evidence-based techniques to teach essential skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

The role emphasizes teamwork, compassionate care, and a commitment to ongoing training to help each child reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certification and TB test required or obtainable.
• Pass pre-employment background check.
• Able to move and assist children up to 50 pounds.
• Onboarding includes obtaining RBT certification.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children with autism under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with a team and participate in ongoing training.
• Be physically capable of activities required to support children.
