Always Family First Autism Services is looking for compassionate individuals interested in improving the quality of life for autistic children and their families.
Behavior assistant services involve direct activities related to the delivery of behavior analysis services as specified in a behavior analysis service plan. This role involves providing 1:1 direct behavior analysis services in home and community settings, implementing treatment plans designed by a supervising behavior analyst, facilitating environmental arrangements, using proactive strategies, teaching new skills, managing behaviors based on their function, and monitoring outcomes.
Behavior assistants will receive on-the-job training for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, including 40 hours of training, competency assessment, and an exam scheduled by the BACB.
The RBT certification is a paraprofessional credential in behavior analysis. RBTs assist in delivering behavior-analytic services under supervision.
