Job summary

Easterseals Southern California in Irvine is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide CLINIC and HOME BASED therapy sessions to clients with severe behaviors. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to implement ABA-based treatment plans and support families in applying strategies at home and in the community.

Responsibilities include data collection, progress monitoring, caregiver training, and collaboration with BCBAs, while maintaining high professional standards and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Crisis Management Training required (MCPP) at both Intermediate and Advanced levels.
• Some ABA experience or proven performance with individuals who have autism.

Responsibilities

• Supports participants with autism and severe behavior in clinic, home, and community settings.
• Collects data on participant behavior and documents progress.
• Assists with behavior assessments and skill acquisition plans under BCBA supervision.
• Teaches socially appropriate behaviors and communicates results to caregivers and treatment teams.
