Job summary

Acceptional Minds LLC in Wisconsin hires a Communication and Behavior Specialist to mentor and support kids and young adults affected by autism and mental health challenges across three programs. Flexible shifts are available, including full-time, part-time, seasonal, or on-call arrangements.

Requirements include 18+ with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle, calm demeanor, and ability to meet physical demands. Training on Ukeru and Handle with Care is provided.

Qualifications

• Ages 18+; valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support kids and young adults with autism and mental health challenges across three programs.
• Help students build executive functioning, social-emotional, and self-regulation skills outside a traditional school setting.
• Guide youth through structured program activities, arts and crafts, motor activities, and daily living skills.
• Assist young adults as they transition into adulthood by teaching daily living skills and exploring vocational or volunteer paths.
